The fact that Serbia is the first country in the Western Balkans, which has a national index of responsible business practice (CSR Index), is the main conclusion from the seventh CSR Forum. This year’s CSR Forum, organized by the Corporate social responsibility Forum, brought together representatives of relevant state institutions, companies, and distinguished guests from abroad – the representatives of the working groups of the Government of the United Kingdom, as well as from the German national network of local businesses and non-profit organizations intermediaries.
At the announcement of the first national list of companies placed on the Index of responsible business Katarina Obradovic-Jovanovic Deputy Minister of Economy addressed the attendees, Laura Pavlovic on behalf of the USAID Office for economic and democratic development, as well as David Lithgow, President of NALED’s Ethics Committee.
On the list of the Index of responsible business 20 companies found their place, which on this occasion were honored with awards, among which there was a company Leco.
Leco is a proud holder of the special award for the results achieved in the first national CSR indexing. We managed to be among the leaders of socially responsible business in Serbia and joined companies that meet very high standards in the implementation of standards of social responsibility in its business and thus earn a place on the first national list of indexed CSR companies.
